Two weeks ago, we celebrated our biggest event of the year: our 5K and Community Day! 🧡 🏃‍♂️
With over 360 participants and over $40,000 raised, we feel so lucky to have such an incredible community that’s passionate about raising awareness for mental health.
We’re excited to launch our endowment fund at Rutgers University and look forward to more amazing events that further our mission! September is Suicide Prevention Month - a cause very important to Into the Light. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for people ages 10-14 and the 12th leading cause of death overall in the U.S. Furthermore, more women than men attempt suicide, but men are 4x more likely to die by suicide. This month, make sure you are taking care of yourself and checking in extra on your loved ones. You are NOT alone, and there IS hope!! Keep your head up, you’re doing great💜💙💛
